Re-opening the Post

Last year Dispatches spent five months undercover inside the Royal Mail.

Secret filming revealed untrained staff, dumped mail, clapped out machinery, unvetted staff, ineffective management and poor industrial relations.

After the programme, Royal Mail's Chief Executive, Adam Crozier, announced that he was taking control of the letters business.

Earlier this year, Royal Mail declared record profits of £537 million and now claims to be providing the best quality of service for over a decade.

Fourteen months on, Dispatches goes back undercover to investigate.
