Hardcash goes undercover to investigate private colleges that attract foreign students – from multi million pound businesses to a few rooms above a cafe and beauty salon in Walthamstow. These are the colleges ‘highly trusted’ by the Home Office to bring in thousands of students from abroad every year – but how trustworthy are they? This six month investigation follows up allegations from a whistleblower in the United Kingdom Border Agency who tells us that the system is broken, and little more than a licence to print money.
